How we handle information
What we collect
If you use the participation form: name, email, postal code, optional street and expertise, and participation preferences. We record a consent timestamp.
Why
Solely for civic coordination related to hyperscale data centre proposals and governance in Hamilton, including constituency mapping, turnout planning, and expertise identification. Not for advertising, sale to third parties, or unrelated political prospecting.
Page visits
This site loads a small, invisible image from our analytics host
(cache-cdn.ca) on each page view. That records approximate visit time,
browser type, and network location for aggregate traffic measurement only. It does not use
cookies, advertising networks, or cross-site profiling.
What we do not do
- No adtech or third-party marketing trackers
- No sale of contact lists
- Access is gated to project administrators only
Retention & your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your submission by emailing the project coordinator at the address published on the main site when available, or via the same channel you used to reach organizers. We will honour deletion requests promptly.
Constituency mapping
This site may use geo-data collected from you voluntarily to produce a heatmap of our project's supporters. Such mapping, by design, does not reveal the full names or addresses of anyone in the dataset.
